Baguio’s green campaign – “Glass Bottle Recycling x Donation” to encourage and promote glass bottle recycling among the public concluded successfully on 30th Nov 2019. HK$45,575 donation has made through collecting more than 460 thousand glass bottles (around 151 tonnes) from 199 supporting units. The donation has donated to Tung Wah Group of Hospitals in support of the development of its various services.

To increase the public awareness in clean glass bottle recycling, The Avenue, the supporting unit of the Green Charity Campaign – “ Glass Bottle Recycling x Donation”, joined hands with Baguio to organize the glass bottle recycling bartering activity on 24 August, 2019*. Donation will be made to Tung Wah Group of Hospitals based on the weight of the glass bottle collected in the activity.
*The redemption was open for The Avenue’s residents only.

To enhance the glass bottle recycling behavior of the public, Baguio held “Glass Bottle Collection” Day with the community organization on 26 April 2019 at Tin Yiu Estate. Citizens could redeem a limited edition of Big Waster souvenir by recycling a clean glass bottle.

A glass bottle bartering activity was organized at Fu Tung Estate, Tung Chung on 26 April 2019 by Baguio to increase the green awareness among the public. To encourage the clean glass bottle recycling, a limited edition of Big Waster souvenir is available for redemption by recycling the glass bottle.

To encourage clean recycling of glass bottle to the public, Baguio joined hands with Yuen Long District Councilor by means of bartering. The barter was held at Long Ping Community Hall and Long Ping Estate Plaza in every Saturday. Citzens could redeem limited edition souvenir by recycling glass bottle. First come, first served basis while stocks last.

To promote the clean glass bottle recycling in Tuen Mun District, Baguio joined hands with New Opportunity Company by means of bartering. The collected glass bottles would be delivered to Baguio’s Waste Glass Bottle Recycling Plant for proper recycling. The citizen could get a limited edition of Big Waster souvenir as a reward by recycling clean glass bottle.

To promote glass bottle recycling and encourage clean recycling to the public, a glass recycling station held by Baguio and Shatin District Councilor at Sun Chui Estate on every Monday to Saturday from May to September. A limited edition of Big Waster souvenir and a free Fairwood’s hot milk tea/coffee coupon were available for redemption by recycling the glass bottle.

To promote glass bottle recycling and encourage clean recycling to the public, a glass bottle recycling station held by Baguio and Shatin District Councilor at Hin Keng Estate on every Thursday. A limited edition of Big Waster souvenir and a free Fairwood’s hot milk tea/coffee coupon were available for redemption by recycling glass bottle. 

To enhance the glass bottle recycling behavior of the public, Baguio held “Glass Bottle Collection” Day with Shatin District Councilor on every Thursday at Sun Tin Wai Estate. Citizens could redeem a limited edition of Big Waster souvenir and a free Fairwood’s hot milk tea/coffee coupon by recycling a clean glass bottle.

To promote the clean glass bottle recycling to the public, Baguio joined hand with Shatin District Councilor to organize glass bottle public participation scheme for the community from 17 Apr to 12 Jun, 2019 at Shek Mun Estate. The citizen who recycles specified quantity of clean glass bottles can get a gift as a reward. 

To increase the public awareness of clean recycling glass bottle, a glass bottle bartering activity was held by Baguio on April 9 & Apr 11, 2019 at the entrance of Tin Wan Shopping Centre. Participants get a limited edition of Big Waster souvenir as a reward by recycling clean glass bottles. 

To encourage the clean glass bottle recycling among the public, a glass bottle recycling bartering activity was held by Baguio on April 7, 2019 at 61 Caine Road, Mid-levels. Public redeem a limited edition of Big Waster souvenir by recycling a clean glass bottle.

To enhance the glass bottle recycling behavior of the public, Baguio held  “Glass Bottle Collection” Day with the community organization on 6 April 2019 at 20-22 Conduit Road and 110-118 Caine Road. Citizens redeem a limited edition of Big Waster souvenir by recycling a clean glass bottle.

“Glass Bottle Bartering Activity @ Tai O” was co-organized by Baguio and Tai O Cultural Association to encourage and increase the awareness of clean bottle glass recycling at Kwan Tai Temple from 1 to 4 April 2019. The citizen could entitle a limited edition of Big Waster souvenir by recycling a clean glass bottle.

To promote glass bottle recycling and encourage clean recycling to the public, a glass recycling station was held by Baguio and Ma On Shan Youth Association in April at the Exit D of Tai Wai MTR station. A limited edition of Big Waster souvenir is available for redemption by recycling the glass bottle.

Baguio joined hand with Office of Yuen Long District Councilor on 30 March at Tin Shing Court to organize glass bottle public participation scheme to the citizen. “Glass Bottle Bartering Activity – EC Fun Day” was co-organized by Tseung Kwan O Kai Fong Joint Association, The Incorporated owners of Well On Garden and Baguio outside Well On Garden Block 3 on 30 March, 2019. The citizen gets a gift as a reward by recycling the glass bottle in the booth to encourage their green action in protecting our earth.

The support and participation of the public are important to promote local recycling.  Baguio and the Office of Wan Chai District Council set up a green station at Pearl City Mansion on 30 March 2019 to promote clean glass bottle recycling. The citizen could entitle a limited edition of Big Waster souvenir by recycling a clean glass bottle.

To encourage the clean glass bottle recycling among the public, Baguio organized a glass bottle bartering activity at Hang Lung Centre from 29 to 31 March 2019. The citizen entitle a limited edition of Big Waster souvenir by recycling a clean glass bottle.

A glass bottle bartering activity was organized at Fu Tung Estate, Tung Chung on 29 March 2019 by Baguio to increase the green awareness among the public. To encourage the clean glass bottle recycling, a limited edition of Big Waster souvenir is available for redemption by recycling the glass bottle. 

To encourage clean recycling of glass bottle to the public, Baguio joined hands with “Wisdom Regeneration” by means of bartering. The barter will be held at Cadagan Street Temporary Garden in the 4th Sunday of March to June.

To continuously increase the clean glass bottle recycling habits, a glass bottle recycling bartering activity was held by Baguio on February 26, 2019 at the entrance of Tin Wan Shopping Centre. People could get gifts as a reward by recycling clean glass bottles. Meanwhile, the donation will be made to Heep Hong Association / Hong Chi Association based on the weight of the glass bottle collected in this activity.

To arouse the public awareness in environmental protection, Baguio held a booth in the Wisdom Regeneration’s event “Tea gathering for domestic waste reduction” on 23 & February 24, 2019 at Kennedy Town platform & Cadogan Street Temporary Garden. By the mean of bartering, Baguio educates and encourages the public clean recycling of glass bottles.

To increase the public awareness in clean glass bottle recycling, Chi Fu Fa Yuen, the supporting unit of the Green Charity Campaign – “Glass Bottle Recycling x Donation”, joins hand with Baguio to organize the glass bottle recycling bartering activity on February 9 & March 9, 2019*. The residents get daily commodities as a reward by recycling certain amount of clean glass bottles. The donation will be made to Heep Hong Association / Hong Chi Association based on the weight of the glass bottle collected in this activity.

Baguio launched a green campaign called “Glass Bottle Recycling x Donation” from October 2018 to March 2019 to encourage and promote glass bottle recycling among the public. Baguio will give back to the society by making the donation to Hong Chi Association / Heep Hong Society through the glass bottle recycling action in a housing estate on behalf of the supporting unit.
