Green Event Management - Glass Bottles & Containers

Baguio provides FREE glass bottle/ container collection and recycling services for activities and mega events in Hong Kong Island. We will provide advice to assist the event organizers in waste reduction and to make the waste glass bottles/ containers treated in a sustainable way. 

Aims:

• To facilitate the event organizers to reduce waste and recycle glass bottles/ containers

• To increase the quantity & quality of the recyclables collected from events

• To promote sustainable event planning and foster green event culture in the community

• To turn waste glass bottles/ containers to useful products (e.g. as raw materials of eco-bricks, concrete mixing, road paving, land reclamation and Green Sand Bag) and/ or upcycled artworks

FREE Service:

• Delivery and collection service for glass recycling bins

• Provision of guideline for glass recycling

• Online platform to track glass recycling weight

• Lending of 240L and/or 660L glass recycling bins (or other EPD-approved models)
