The Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence is led by the Environmental Campaign Committee alongside the Environmental Protection Department and in conjunction with nine organisations this year. Through the rigorous assessment system measuring different organisations’ performances on environmental management, the organisations with outstanding achievements will be awarded to recognise their commitment to environmental management and excellent performance.
Baguio granted “HKAEE Certificate of Merit – Manufacturing and Industrial Services” for 3 consecutive years and certified as “Hong Kong Green Organization” under the keen competition. Baguio’s glass bottle recycling plant was one of the assessment points for 2 years and passed the accreditation in this award. In the future, Baguio will keep fostering green practices and sustaining environmental initiatives in the company, work together with the public to striving for a better and sustainable Hong Kong.
